Afternoon Fall Walk In Inverhuron Provincial Park # 1 Tuesday 12th October
Easy Walking – Visiting Old Homestead on the Hardwood Forest trail, Chain trail through the Cedars, on to Homestead Family Cemetery and Sand Dunes area. About two and a half hrs. approx.
Meet in Kincardine at the car park near ice Cream Hut, Queen Street opposite the Fine Fettle Health store at 2 p.m.
Afternoon Fall Walk in Inverhuron Provincial Park #2 Tuesday 19th October
Mid to Challenging-some hills to navigate can add detours for easier walking if needed, walking poles or stick could be useful on this walk.
On the River Trail, coming back along the shoreline dune area. Two and a half hours approx.
Meeting in Kincardine car park near ice cream hut, Queen Street opposite the Fine Fettle Health Store at 2pm.
Beaver Valley Day Trip Monday October 25th Full day outing come with packed lunch.
Meeting at Sobeys Car Park west side at 9.15am.
Still in planning stage more info out soon. Look out stops maybe a waterfall, winery/cidery stop,
bog boardwalk and more.
Though the forecast is rain for Monday.. I remain hopeful that it won’t happen. Three out of three of the trips so far had rain forecast for the day and yet we went ahead and had rain-free outings… fingers crossed we will be lucky again🤞
Starting at Eugenia Falls for short walk to Hog’s falls and taking the views on top Old Baldy look out, Grey and Gold cidery visit …though closed, this is a chance visit (will work if owner isn’t tied up at our arrival) and more!
